Nick Liveris, the son of the recently retired Dow chemicals boss Andrew Liveris, has spent $5.25 million in Rose Bay.

He's moving closer to the family from New York.

The master suite has its own private balcony with district views to Bondi, an ensuite and a fitted dressing room.

There's a poolside entertainer's haven on the 380 sqm parcel.

It last traded for $4.2 million in 2016.

Andrew and wife Paula have a Point Piper bolthole which they paid $8.5 million for in 2015.

Late last year the couple sold their Whale Beach project which they never got round to starting for $3.33 million.
