Cardross, the family home of the Stenmark modelling clan in Mosman, has been listed for sale.

It was where the duo Zac and Jordan Stenmark, Australia's hottest twin modelling exports, grew up, along with their Stamford University-based brother Louis and their stylist sister Zoe.

The home has been listed by their mother, Susie Stenmark, a former model, and husband, successful businessman Damien Stenmark.

The Mosman home was bought in 1998, when the twins were just six. It cost $2.65 million.

The grand turn of the century family home sits on 1150 sqm of level land in the prestigious Clifton Gardens.

Surrounded by manicured gardens, the home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a central hallway and reception rooms with high ornate ceilings.

The kitchen opens to an alfresco terrace which overlook the pool.

The master suite with two walk-in wardrobes has its own private north facing terrace with views over Sydney Harbour.

Raine & Horne Mosman agent Brendan Warner has a June 28 auction with $11 million hopes.

Talking to Sydney Confidential in 2015, Jordan called his mum "the core of the family."

"The whole family is really close, but mum is the core of our family in many ways, she does so much for us and is such an amazing support in so many situations."

Susie was a fashion star in her own right at her son's age.

Jordan says she gives him tips.

The twins have have left the nest in recent years, finding their own way in the property market.

Zac was the first to leave the family home when two years ago he spent $965,000 on a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Manly.

When he moved out, Zac said the twins still expected to see each other every day.

Some 18 months later, Jordan bought at Bondi, splashing $1.19 million on his two bedroom apartment.

The twins broke onto the modelling scene in 2011 when working in a cafe, a friend suggested they would make more money modelling.

The pair didn't realise what was to come, as they were immediately signed on by the Vivien agency at just 19 years of age and flown to Miami to shoot 60 pages for L'official Homme the following week.
