Michael and Prue Williams, founders of Sydney based property development and investment company W Property, have sold in Potts Point

The Wylde Street apartment sold in just one day. It cost $5,525,000 in 2015 and has been renovated since.

The two level unit in a Victorian Italianate villa-style mansion once belonged to local restaurateur Paolo Toppi and her husband Neil Cunningham.

Spanning 510 sqm, the apartment has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a private garden courtyard.

A grand tiled balcony with wrought iron lacework has harbour views.

The sale comes after the couple flipped a Bondi Beach penthouse they only owned for eight months.

They paid $4.1 million for the three bedroom apartment with wrap around balcony last November. The sale price has not yet emerged.

It once belonged to Powerbox Australia managing director Marc Rutty and wife Helen.

In 2015 the couple sold their Northwood waterfront for a suburb record $10,375,000.

They established W Property in 1983.
