Peter Beattie sells Newstead riverfront apartment for $1.7 million

The former Queensland premier Peter Beattie has sold his riverfront investment apartment in Newstead for $1.7 million.

Beattie’s rental on Newstead Terrace was sold off market by Pauline Karatau of LJ Hooker, New Farm to a local couple.

The apartment is located on the podium level of the Oriana Building in Newstead.

The apartment, which has a 379 square metre floorspace, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two car lock up garage.

There was a large 87 square metre semi-covered terrace with views of the Brisbane River and a private courtyard.

The young couple intend living in the apartment.
