The London-bound Zeger Degraeve, the former Dean of Melbourne Business School, sold his Middle Park home mid-week.

The two level modernised 1900s Victorian cost Degraeve $1.72 million in 2012 when it was bought from the former Melbourne AFL player Alistair Nicholson, turned chief executive officer of the Australian Cricketers' Association, and wife Julia.

Its extension was designed by Matt Gibson and shortlisted in the Australian Institute of Architects’ National Architecture Awards.

Featuring a classic arched hallway entrance, the four bedroom home was listed through Cayzer Real Estate Albert Park agent Simon Carruthers who had a guide of $2.4 million to $2.6 million for its auction last weekend. It was subsequently sold at $2.65 million.
