A rural estate in Balnarring, a small hamlet on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, sold recently for $1.91 million.

The two hectare green wedge zoned property features an architect designed timber homestead and the timber boathouse, which is now a studio on the dam.

The 1975-built two level home with views over the established gardens had been updated since its $866,500 sale in 2009.

At the bottom of the parcel sits an olive grove, while closer to the home there's an established veggie garden, chook shed and orchard, complete with trees growing figs, plums, apricots, apples and pears.

Link Property Balnarring agents Lisa Fraser-Smith and Gabe Frampton sold the property at auction.
