The Bilgola Beach trophy home of former Penrith Panther turned multi-millionaire property developer Lou Zivanovic has sold.

The home on the Serpentine had $8 million plus hopes.

In fact it would nearly double the $5.6 million record set in 2010 if it achieved near that price.

Zivanovic developed the Bilgola Beach home having paid $3.3 million in 2005, commissioning the 2010 Nick Turner redesign.

The four level, four bedroom home comes with a home office, 1000 bottle wine cellar and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

Christie's International agents Martin Ross and Darren Curtis sold the home in conjunction with LJ Hooker Avalon agent David Watson.

Zivanovic is the man behind the Penrith Panthers apartment development ESQ 1818, set for construction later this year.
