A residential conversion of an original Richmond brewery has been listed for sale.

Its conversion was by one of Australia's most celebrated designers, Rae Ganim and her husband, late entrepreneur Anthony Ganim.

The Ganim's owned the home from 1990 until 1997. It last traded for $2 million in 2001.

The Lyndhurst Street property maintains some industrial features especially in the drying rooms of the malthouse.

Covering three levels with lift, the home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

There's a dedicated home office zone and a roof-top terrace with 360 degree views across the city.

Jock Langley and Emma Pierson at Abercromby's have set a February 27 auction, quoting $5 million to $5.5 million.
