A two level home in the redevelopment of the former Channel Nine studios at Richmond is up for sale with $1.8 million to $1.9 million price guidance.

It has been listed by the boss of First National Real Estate, Ray Ellis who has got Jonathon O’Donoghue of Jellis Craig to take the property to auction on February 10.

The conversion of the former television studio lot was undertaken by Lend Lease as part of the $400 million housing village, dubbed Studio Nine. The offering sits directly under the Television City sign etched onto the front red brick facade.

Set on the tree-lined Bendigo Street, the home sits at the front of the building, the area which was once the entertainment area of the popular tv studio. It is now a modern home with soaring ceilings.

The living and dining area features a decked alfresco with street views at one end and a gourmet kitchen at the other.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms, serviced by a vogue monochrome dual-vanity ensuite and bathroom.

CoreLogic indicates it sold at $1,725,000 in 2014.

Originally built in the 1900's by the Wertheim Piano manufacturers. It went on to become the Heinz soup factory before General Televsion Corporation bought the site in 1955.

Construction and sales began in 2012.

First National Real Estate markets itself as Australia's most advanced real estate network and the trademark 'Swash' as the country's most recognised symbol for real estate.

It has over 400 offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea, but none in Richmond where its headquarters is based on Hoddle Street.

Its website suggests going to the Kew, Northcote, Moonee Ponds, Balwyn North or Caroline Springs offices.
