Chef Shannon Bennett lists Great Ocean Road holiday let

Celebrity chef Shannon Bennett has listed his Great Ocean Road holiday retreat which has been a luxury rental offering for holidayers on Victoria's Surf Coast.

It comes as he's upgrading to Toorak from South Yarra where he recently scored a windfall result on his trophy home, Barwon.

Located on the stretch between Moggs Creek and Lorne, the holiday home sits on a vast 5,100 square metre parcel bordered by state forest on three sides.

Tyrone Provan and Ian Stewart at Great Ocean Road Real Estate Lorne are marketing the home with $4.65 million to $5.1 million price guidance.

The property loving culinary giant paid $380,000 for the vast 5,100 sqm parcel in Big Hill in 2007.

Its sits in Phillip Johnson Landscape designed gardens complete with swimmable billabong and stainless steel outdoor kitchen

Behind the striking zinc-clad exterior is a 1000 square metre home spanning three open plan levels.
