Mosman Park mansion fetches over $11.5 million

A Mosman Park mega-mansion has been sold after two years on the market for $11,675,000. There's whispers it has been bought by a Peet director.

The home, sold by low profile investor John Clinton and wife Lilian, saw a price reduction to $13.5 million that prompted the sale.

It was built on two of the 10 blocks created when Perth socialite Rose Porteous demolished her iconic mansion, Prix D'Amour, in 2006.

Set on 1610 sqm, the three level home serviced by its own elevator is swathed in marble and sits in lush gardens complete with water features.

The home has with Swan River and CBD views has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a 12 seat theatre, gym and wine cellar.

An outdoor palm fringed terrace overlooks the swimming pool and spa.

The home was sold by Rose's husband William Porteous at William Porteous Properties International.
