Abian, Brisbane secures bullish $3.9 million resale

Sunland Group’s new residential tower in Brisbane’s CBD has seen a $3.9 million resale.

The half-floor 36th level sub-penthouse in the 24-hour concierge block, Abian fetched $240,000 more than paid for it two years ago off the plan.

Settlements were in August on the $3.66 million sale, with its offered for resale in early September.

The apartment at 3601/140 Alice Street comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms covering 322 sqm.

There are three car parks.

It offers 270 degree views of the Brisbane River, Kangaroo Point and South Brisbane.

The apartment also includes a separate media room, full sized laundry and a guest powder room.

The Abian tower, overlooking Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens, attracted buyers including celebrity chef Matt Moran.

Simon Caulfield and James McKinlay of Place Kangaroo Point secured the sale to a local family downsizing from a riverfront home at Yeronga.

The building's 40-level features a resort-style pool and spa, plunge pool, sauna, Hammam thermal stone room and steam room.

Other early insoles have been showing above trend price growth.

A three bedder sold off the plan on the 16th floor at $2.09 million in 2014 has been onsold for $2,635,000.

A two bedder on the 12th floor has been onsold at $1,135,000. It was bought off the plan in 2014 at $968,000.
