NINE chief information officer Mat Yelavich and wife Alicia have spent $3,375,000 in Kensington having sold their Surry Hills home.

They've bought a 1920s Queen Anne style Federation manor that backs onto the Australian Golf Course.

The four bedroom, one bathroom home is set in an 800 square metre private garden oasis featuring established gardens, dining terrace and a swimming pool.

The couple have left Surry Hills where they sold their Goodlet Street terrace after having $1.85 million hopes through BresicWhitney agents Christopher Breedon and Ivan Bresic.

The narrow two bedroom home cost them $827,500 in 2012.

Yelavich has been at Nine since 2010 and was made CIO in in 2015.

He previously worked at Al Jazeera in Qatar and BSkyB in London.
