Chris Rex sells Bronte home in trade up

The former Ramsay Health Care chief Chris Rex has sold his Bronte home for $6,275,000. It had a buyers guide of $5.75 million.

The Yanko Avenue home (above and below) has been the long-time home of Chris and wife Lynette, having bought it for $985,000 in 1998.

Set on 460 sqm in north facing Barbara Landsberg gardens, the private family beach house has five bedrooms over its three levels.

Chris Rex sells Bronte home in trade up

Phillips Pantzer Donnelly agents Alexander Phillips and David Tyrell sold the home after its spent two weeks on the market.

Earlier this month the Rex's emerged as the buyers of Pavilion House at Tamarama.

They paid a suburb record $11.2 million for the home of Bronte Surf Club president and sports and entertainment manager Basil Scaffidi and wife Catherine.

Last year they sold their Bondi Beach penthouse that they bought it from the accountant Anthony Bell $7.35 million. 

Set in The Bondi, the 395 sqm apartment with 150 sqm rooftop had been leased out at $3,750 a week.
