Sydney spearhead Sam Reid has listed his redundant Coogee penthouse having moved down to South Coogee a few years ago.

The forward, who has just signed a new four year deal with the Swans, paid $960,000 for the apartment in 2012.

Crowning a boutique block of five, the 108 square metre apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Two of the bedrooms open to a rear balcony.

The living and dining area flows to a wrap around terrace with views out to Wedding Cake Island.

Belle Property Bondi Junction agent Daniel Gillespie has an October 29 auction.

Reid put the apartment up for rent when he paid $1.65 million for a four bedroom freestanding home in South Coogee in 2014.

It was listed at around $1,000 a week.

Reid was drafted to Sydney in the 2009 Draft.

He became a third generation footballer at AFL/VFL level. His grandfather Bruce Reid Snr played for Footscray while father Bruce Reid Jnr played for Footscray and Carlton.

Reid is also the younger brother of Collingwood premiership player Ben Reid.

A consistent starter in 2011, Reid only missed one game and was nominated for the 2011 AFL Rising Star award.

He was part of the Swans' Premiership winning side - kicking a goal in the Grand Final victory over the Hawks.
