Badgers Wood, set in Edna Walling’s housing subdivision in Mooroolbark, has been listed for sale.

The garden designer had design on a Devon village in her 1920s project called the Bickleigh Vail Village.

Fletchers Mooroolbark agent Lisa Sorrell has it listed on behalf of Michael O’Loughlin and Anna Beesley who have occupied the home for six years.

It is being sold in an expressions of interest campaign that closes on 4 November.

The cottage home sits on 3144 square metres of garden.

Stone open fireplaces, lofty gables and exposed beams decorate the formal sitting room and inviting living room, with French doors leading straight out to the garden.

A contemporary country-style kitchen with European appliances and large walk in pantry, sits alongside the dining room where you can enjoy the garden expanse at eye level.

It has four bedrooms and a study, the main boasting an ensuite and private balcony.
