A four bedroom house at Hughes has sold for $1.665 million making it Canberra’s most expensive weekend auction sale.

The home at 18 Goble Street was marketed as having “unquestionable style and grandeur”.

Built in 2012 it last sold for $485,000 in 2003.

It features three living areas and a multi-purpose room, media room and home office. There is also a study available.

The second living area is adjacent to the open plan kitchen and dining area which leads to the outdoor entertainment area.

Chef’s kitchen features a Caesarstone benchtop, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a butler’s pantry with second oven.
