A five bedroom Ascot house has sold for $2.4 million making it Brisbane’s most expensive weekend auction sale.

The home at 111 Alexandra Road was marketed as "having it all."

Built in 1920, the home on 1120 sqm last sold in 2003 for $1.9 million.

The renovated Queenslander has five bedrooms, the master suite featuring its own ensuite. All five bedroom are accessed through the upstairs lounge.

The sale through Ray White's Vanessa Harte came with a tennis court on a separate 410 sqm block
