An architecturally designed Hamilton house has sold for $2.58 million making it Brisbane’s most expensive weekend auction.

Located at 11 Czar Street, the 607 sqm property was designed by award winning duo architect Derek Trebilcock and interior designer Mary Durack.

Built in 1930 it last sold for $1.14 million in 2009.

It features four bedrooms including a master suite with its own walk-in robe and ensuite.

There is a separate guest suite or fifth bedroom and home office on the lower level.

On one level is both the entertainment and living area that leads to the alfresco and pool.

A Calcutta marble kitchen features a butler’s pantry, commercial grade cold room and Miele appliances.

The property was offered through Ray White agent Matt Lancashire.
