A South Yarra townhouse was sold by Telstra chief executive Andrew Penn before its scheduled weekend auction.
Kay & Burton South Yarra selling agent Nicole Gleeson secured the sale for an undisclosed price in excess of the $3 million to $3.3 million quote range.
The three-bedroom pad sold to a local downsizer.
It was bought new seven years ago for $2.35 million.
The UK-born executive migrated to Melbourne in 1992 and joined Telstra in 2012 as their chief financial officer.
