The Glenorie home of the the TV ad phenomenon the Lancaster kids, has been listed for sale as the family wishes to move closer to their schools.

The Lancaster kids, Sofia, Kai, Ethan, Jake and Ruby, have all appeared in big brand commercials and even in movies.

TV stardom began for the Lancaster's when eldest girl Sofia asked if she could join an agency when she was seven, because she wanted to be on Home and Away.

She hasn't featured on the Palm Beach soap just yet, however she has featured in numerous TV commercial for brands such as Lego, Advil and Activia.

Her siblings soon followed her to Sydney's Starfish Talent agency.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, mother Rosie said it was always exciting to see them on TV or in a magazine or catalogue.

Rosie and her husband James, who runs an IT company, moved to Glenorie from Leicester in the UK 10 years ago.

They paid $843,000 for the 4.5 hectare estate in 2009.

The family home has six bedrooms, just enough for each of the kids, and four bathrooms.

It is being advertised as a modern residence that caters for the entire family. Outside there's a solar heated swimming pool.

The home is slated for a September 2 auction through Lumby Hampson Dural agents Will Hampson and Kate Lumby.

One of the most successful of the Lancaster kids is the second youngest Kai, who a few weeks ago shot a commercial as the toy squad leader for Lego. He's set to feature in the 2018 Tim Boyle directed movie The Half Dead.

The youngest Ruby features extensively in the Big W catalogue and was shot in an Amnesty International video, while eldest brothers Ethan and Jake both appeared in a Tip Top TV ad. Jake, the eldest Lancaster, has also been in ads for Aldi and Westinghouse. 

Sofia was an extra on Love Child.
