The newly appointed Wesfarmers chief financial officer Anthony Gianotti and wife Rosemarie are selling their Mosman mansion.

The couple are set to relocate to the company's head office in Perth.

The three level 500 sqm home with elevated tree top views over Quaker's Hay Bay cost Gianotti $4.9 million in 2015.

It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, three living rooms and two studies.

Sandstone alfresco terraces overlook the gas heated swimming pool with timber decking and cabana that sit on the 960 sqm parcel.

Simeon Manners agents Simeon and Mark Manners have set an August 26 auction. They have a guide of between $5.9 million to $6.3 million.

Gianotti has been at Wesfarmers since 2004 having began his career at Ernst & Young.

He was appointed deputy chief financial officer in last month.
