The Fortitude Valley, Brisbane home of architect James Russell has been listed with $1.8 million to $2.2 million hopes.

Architect James Russell is moving on from his award-winning home, tucked between a heritage-listed church and hall on Brookes Street.

It is located in the middle of Brisbane's urban area, the 1888 built property gives prospective home owners a point of difference in the luxury property market.

It has recently been renovated and the Gothic structure has been converted into a three-bedroom courtyard home with separate commercial office and coffee-shop tenancy in the adjacent building.

Wrapping around a central courtyard, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home spans three storeys.

It has been marketed as a celebration of concrete, steel and glass along with the warmth of timber joinery.

There’s a commercial office space opening onto a landscaped forecourt.

There is room to park six cars.

Matt Lancashire of Ray White New Farm is taking expressions of interest.
