Canberra Raiders legend and Fox Sports commentator Gary Belcher has listed his Casuarina beach house.

Belcher paid $550,000 for the vacant 715 sqm parcel in 2013 before engaging award winning architect Jayson Pate to build the home.

Completed just one year ago, the modern home comes with a ground floor master suite adjoining the living room, while an second living space services the two upstairs bedrooms.

The open plan living, dining and kitchen extend to an outdoor dining area that overlooks a plunge pool and level lawn.

LS Properties Casuarina agents Lorna Savage and Mark Humphries have set an asking price of $2,495,000.

"This beautifully appointed home with ducted air-conditioning and tasteful finishes sits proudly amongst the homes on Casuarina's beachfront row," says the marketing.

Belcher began his career in rugby at the Souths Magpies in Brisbane - where he won the 1985 Grand Final - before heading to Canberra with the great Mal Meninga.

He played 148 games for the Raiders in the NSWRL Premiership where he won the 1989 and 1990 Grand Finals.

During his club career the fullback racked up 16 appearances for the Maroons in the State of Origin and 15 appearances for the Kangaroos.

After retiring in 1993, Belcher spent time on the Brisbane Broncos coaching staff until a major cleanout by head coach Wayne Bennett at the end of 2005 saw him removed.

He now features on Fox Sports NRL match-day commentary.

Just down the strip is the home of Brisbane lawyer and property industry identity Peter MacGregor, who is asking $2.1 million for his beachfront.

Peter and wife Leonie built the two level, five bedroom Eclipse Lane home which is also being marketed by Lorna Savage Properties.

Closer to the NSW border in Kingscliff Harvey Norman CEO Katie Page has sold her investment property for $2,675,000 through Mason Graham at Coastal Real Estate Group.

The contemporary five bedroom home spanning around 420 sqm living space comes with a private entertaining area with large covered natural timber deck and 12 metre lap pool.

She paid $775,000 for the vacant 657 sqm parcel back in 2004.

Page is one of Australia's longest serving CEO's having been at the top at retailer Harvey Norman since 1999 .
