Former Pandora Australia boss lists Sydney trophy apartment

Former Pandora Australia jewellery boss Karin Adcock is selling her luxury Sydney CBD apartment in the Lumiere building.

The two level Bathurst Street apartment cost Adcock $1.57 million in 2011.

Set some 35 stories up, on the first level is an open plan dining room and galley-style kitchen, with level two comprising the living quarters and the two bedrooms.

The master bedroom features bi-fold doors that lead out to an enclosed balcony. 

It comes with a price guide of $2 million to $2.2 million through Unique Estates agent Nicolette van Wiijngaarden and Grant Dale.

They have an April 11 auction for the apartment there's an option to buy it on a walk-in, walk out basis, with furnishings styled by Findlay Miller.

The Lumiere building, boasting a metal and glass facade, is the one architecturally designed by Foster + Partners on the site of the former Regent Theatre, the first Australian project undertaken by Lord Norman Foster and colleagues.

It was 2004 when Karin Adcock introduced Danish jewellery brand Pandora into the Australian market, via her garage in Avalon.

She borrowed $35,000 to land the Pandora licence.

Adcock sold Pandora Australia for around $100 million in 2012 when Pandora Australia and New Zealand had grown to a $200 million operation with more than 300 employees.

She is busy working on her new jewellery venture, Alex and Ani which has had some 650,000 plus Instagram posts.

The jewellery that comes with specially crafted positive messages is already a celeb favourite, sported by the likes of Beyonce, Britney Spears and Sandra Bullock.
