Bachelorette and 2DayFM evening radio personality Sam Frost has secured herself first Sydney home, however its not the coastal apartment she'd initially been after.

Sam has recently settled on a $1.2 townhouse in Sydney's inner ring near Sydney Park, one of Sydney's best park playgrounds.

It secured her three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a car space.

She'd previously spent six months searching fruitlessly up and down Sydney's eastern suburbs coastline.

She was first spotted at an open for inspection back last August in Bondi, looking for a two bedroom apartment.

Local agents had gleaned Sam was seeking an apartment priced up to $1.3 million.

Sam didn't want to bid past the eventual winning bid of $1,282,000 on a Clovelly apartment in November that offered views over Clovelly Beach.

She's decided to settle in Sydney's inner ring instead.

The 2002 built townhouse has sliding glass doors that open to an entertainment terrace.

The contemporary home initially traded when bought from the developer for $570,000 in 2008.

All of the three bedrooms access balconies and two have ensuites.

There's the car space necessary for Sam's shiny new Mini Cooper.

Sam confirmed her split with Sasha Mielczarek in December after being together since 2015 when Sasha won her heart and the final rose on The Bachelorette.

In an interview with news.com.au, Sasha cited the distance of their relationship as the key driving force behind their split.

“Basically, Sam would get up early for 2DayFM breakfast show Rove and Sam and I couldn’t really talk to her till about midday and by that stage I was at work ... so not being able to talk to Sam during the day was tough for me," Sasha said.

“Then by the time I finished work, sometimes at 9pm, she was already asleep, so that was challenging.”

The couple had signalled plans to build on a block of land in an upmarket Southern Highlands housing subdivision, Retford Park, which is likely to become Sasha's endeavour given he's been doing construction work in Nowra.

The recently available sold out lots had been priced between $365,000 and $810,000 through Savills Residential Projects.

"I love building and all things construction," Sasha told me on its purchase.

"Having grown up in the Southern Highlands and even going to high school there I'm pretty attached to the area," the former Oxleyan school captain said.
