Architect Eugene Marchese and wife Joanna have listed their Hunters Hill home following their purchase of a Millers Point terrace in the State Government selloff.

The four bedroom home is listed with $3.95 million hopes having cost the couple $1,275,000 in 2007.

Set on 1069 sqm, the contemporary home features a sunken lounge with built-in seating, two living rooms and an alfresco setting overlooking the lap pool.

It goes to auction March 9.

Marchese spent $3.2 million last year on an 1875 Victorian Italianate terrace part of the Winsbury Terrace row.
