Chloe Brookman, one half of children's nursery emporium Olli Ella, and her husband Charlie Wheeler sold their Balmain park-side home pre-auction for around $1.91 million.

The couple paid $1.4 million for the Federation semi in 2015 after looking for two years to find the dilapidated doer-upper. They mainly styled it turning it into an informal and relaxed family living space while maintaining some of its original features.

Cobden & Hayson agent Matthew Hayson auctioned the three bedroom Elliott Street Federation-era home with around $1.85 million tipped.

Chloe, Charlie and their three kids moved to Australia four years ago after Chloe and her Clerkenwell sister Olivia set up Olli Ella when they were both living in London.

The cool children's nursery store has spread globally as Chloe headed up the company's new base in Australia.
