Channel 7 Sunrise sports presenter Mark Beretta and wife Rachel have upgraded in Mosman for a second time.

The legal paperwork shows their $6,025,000 purchase of a home, much closer to the Balmoral beach.

It was the first time the five bedroom home had traded in over three decades.

The 1992 built home on the Balmoral Slopes offers postcard views of Middle Harbour from several alfresco spaces.

The master suite spans across the whole top floor with its own private terrace.

A covered alfresco terrace came with a built-in eight person spa and a seperate sauna room. There's also a heated swimming pool.

Andrew Blaxland at Richardson & Wrench sold the home pre-auction.

It's the third home the couple have owned in the pricey lower north shore suburb.

They sold their five bedroom Lennox Street home for $5.4 million in November.

They transformed the Federation home they paid $2.8 million for in 2011. It was built at the turn of the century for the Mosman mayor.

The Geelong born Beretta had been a 10 time Australian water-ski champion before beginning his career in the media.

In 1989 he started working on Geelong radio station 3GL, before moving to Triple M Melbourne.

He began presenting Seven Early News sport in 2008 alaongside Natalie Barr at 5.30am, which leads into Sunrise.
