The eight-year-old Byron Bay hinterland trophy home, Ad Astra has been listed for sale. 

Designed by award-winning Squillace Architects and built by a Sydney builder, the marketing says its a six star offering at Eureka.

The 13 hectare estate at 18 Taylors Road has a five bedroom home with some 740 sq m living space.

There is a woodfired pizza oven and a climate controlled walk-in cellar. The property also features a C-bus lighting and Sonos entertainment systems.

The contemporary rural estate also features a two-bedroom worker’s cottage.

There is a salt-water tiled and infinity edge pool.  There are also yards and fencing for cattle (currently carrying 20 breeders) and a small citrus orchard with 100 Tahitian lime trees.

The property has been listed for sale by Nicolette van Wijjngaarden of Unique Estates.
