Adelaide’s West is on the rise with the $300 million West Franklin project leading the changes.

Greaton has awarded Built Environs the contract to build the New York inspired landmark development, one of the largest urban regeneration projects ever undertaken in Adelaide’s CBD.

Local Adelaide architects Brown Falconer led the exterior design and interior fit-out.

The highly sought after residences in the urban village precinct have been designed to meld with the historic fabric of the site. Its stylish glass, metal and stone exteriors are designed for the 21st century and will capture the attention of any discerning purchaser.

Dorothy Chapman, National Marketing Manager for Greaton comments, “A project of West Franklin’s scale has never been seen in Adelaide’s West. The architects were given a brief to create a visionary project that would become a legacy for the area.

“House purchasers are realising that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to live in Adelaide’s newest vibrant city precinct. The area was formerly home to Balfours, an iconic South Australian bakery and has been quiet for many years. The commencement of construction in April will re-activate the area and create an entirely new destination in Adelaide’s City West for all generations.”

“The rise of affordable luxury living in Adelaide’s CBD starts at West Franklin. Luxury, lifestyle and liveability capture the essence of this community,” added Cameron Porter, National Sales Manager for Greaton.

“Apartments are priced from $319,000 up to $1.445 for opulent penthouses. Extensive balconies provide the perfect environment for outdoor entertaining enhanced by picturesque views of Adelaide’s history and beaches.”

The first stage of West Franklin is located on the corner of Elizabeth and Franklin Streets and features 271 residential luxury apartments spread across two towers (north tower is 20 storeys and the south tower is 18 storeys).

They both share a common podium comprising 1,100 sqm of retail on the ground level, resident facilities and car parking (236 spaces). Residential facilities include a 20 metre lap pool, gym, spa, sauna, resident dining rooms, BBQ facilities, cinema, golf simulator and roof top bar.

One bedroom apartments are priced from $319,000 to $428,000, two beds start at $460,000 to $635,000, $575,00 to $825,000 is the range for three beds and penthouses are priced from $1.455 million.

An onsite display and sales office is open Monday to Friday 12 – 4pm, Saturday 12 – 4pm and Sunday 12- 4pm.  Completion of stage one is due early 2019.
