The $14 million former Mosman residence of securities trader Neale Muston has been bought by the family behind one of China’s leading fashion brands, Goelia.

The Casey Brown Architects-designed residence sold late last year through McGrath agents Michael Coombs and John Melville.

The buyer’s agent Deborah West was amid the negotiations which fell short of the $14.5 million plus price guidance.

The purchaser has emerged as Daisy Dongying He, wife of Goelia president Gordon Qiming Hu.

The couple own on South Australia’s Kangaroo Island where they have development plans for a tourism retreat on their 100-hectare winery.
