Restaurateur couple Elvis Abrahanowicz and Sarah Doyle have spent around $2 million to buy Rawhiti, a 1910 Californian bungalow in Sydney's Petersham.

The co-owners of Argentinian restaurants Porteno and Bodega are expected to renovated the outdated bungalow.

Set on 675 sqm, the original three bedroom bungalow currently was advertised as rundown.

The home was listed through Richardson & Wrench Bondi Junction agents Jeremy Wiesner and Andre Frack.
