He paid $2.5 million for a two bedroom apartment in Bronte Place.
He and his wife Suzanne already have a Bronte property.
They bought a rundown 1970s home for $5.3 million in 2007 before renovating it into a contemporary home with swimming pool included.
The former fashion mogul-turned-property developer Avidan purchased the site earlier this year for $10 million.
All but six of the planned 21 apartments have already been sold.
Ben Stewart from CBRE is handling enquiries with a one bedroom with study home for $1.55 million to more than $2 million for a two bedroom home as well as a penthouse worth $4 million.
