Darwin takes the longest time to sell property: CoreLogic
Darwin properties are taking the longest time to sell, according to CoreLogic’s latest weekly report.
The property advisory firm says that the average time to sell a house in Darwin is 127 days while for units it takes 113 days.
In contrast, in Sydney it takes 26 days to sell a house while for units it takes 27 days to sell.
NSW’s month on month change for mortgage market activity has increased by 13% resulting in an index value of 191.
However for a month on month trend it has declined by 0.4%.
In Tasmania, both month on month and trend has increased with a 10% increase for month on month and 3% in trends resulting in an index value of 92.
South Australia has the biggest increase in listing market activity with an increase of 22% along with a seasonal increase of 4%.
The listing market activity in Victoria has declined by 3% despite a seasonal increase of 0.4%.
