Richmond star Jack Riewoldt has listed his Brighton home as he and fiancee Carly Ziegler look to upsize.

The Tigers forward bought the property in 2011 and renovated the three bedroom bungalow.

“It was a deceased estate when we bought it in February 2011, so we’ve updated quite a bit,” he told the Herald Sun.

“We’ve stripped the old carpet out. We’ve taken out all the old joinery and put in a brand new galley-style kitchen. The floorboards have been reinvigorated, which are now quite a feature.

“The dining area has been completely opened up and we’ve put in a set of French doors to the outside.

"The backyard has north-facing light, which is great. There’s even a little hammock hook at the back door which, when you rig it up, catches all the sunshine.

The childhood sweethearts from Tasmania are looking to buy something bigger. They hope the sale will pay for the wedding.

He says the couple plans to stay in the neighbourhood.

Buxton Brighton agents Matthew Pillios and Andrew Campbell have an auction date of November 12. It's expected to fetch more than $1.5 million
