The sell-out of Macquarie Park’s tallest tower has been secured by TOGA.

It has sold the final apartment in its $160-million 192-apartment One Twenty Macquarie development.

The sell-out result follows the sale of more than 80 percent of apartments within four hours at the March 5 sales launch earlier this year.

The final three-bedroom apartment in the 23-storey Turner-designed tower was snapped up last week.

Including One Twenty Macquarie, TOGA has sold more than 1000-apartments within the City of Ryde region including the sold-out 618-apartment development Macquarie Central, the 205-apartment Central Square at West Ryde and 161 apartments at Macquarie Green located in North Ryde.

TOGA Development and Construction Chief Executive Officer Fabrizio Perilli said providing high-quality apartment living in a strong growth area was a key to One Twenty Macquarie’s success.

The median unit price in Macquarie Park has risen 50 per cent in the past five years to $671,000.

“To sell-out all 192-apartments ahead of construction commencing is a fantastic milestone,” he said.

“The Macquarie Park business district is now larger than North Sydney and the result at One Twenty Macquarie strongly reflects the appeal of an area on-track for further growth.

“Macquarie Park offers the fundamentals apartment buyers are looking for: local employment, education, shopping and childcare hubs all connected by efficient transport nodes.

“TOGA’s contribution to the City of Ryde region has set the pace for Macquarie Park, and the platform for the area’s future growth,” Mr Perilli added.

Macquarie Park is the second largest business district in NSW, boasts the state’s largest suburban shopping centre and is projected to be Australia’s fourth largest CBD by 2030.**

By 2030, Macquarie Park is expected to attract 45,000 new jobs and 25,000 new students.

Once complete One Twenty Macquarie will feature premium amenities including a gymnasium, a theatrette, landscaped gardens, parking and a stylish retail café at its ground level.

Apartments have balconies capturing views to Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Chatswood and Homebush as well as views overlooking Lane Cove National Park.

The architecturally-designed tower will be the centrepiece on Herring Road; a thriving boulevard at the centre of the NSW Government’s Priority Growth Areas and Precincts Program.

One Twenty Macquarie is positioned 16 kilometres from Sydney CBD and 450 metres from Macquarie University, Macquarie Shopping Centre and Macquarie University railway station; at 120 Herring Road.

In recent years, Macquarie Park has benefited from infrastructure development such as the Chatswood to Epping Rail link and the expansion of Macquarie Centre.

Construction at One Twenty Macquarie will commence in late-2016.

The development is expected to complete in early-2019.

Prices at One Twenty Macquarie started from $615,000.
