Eastern Hotels Group chief Andrew Lazarus and wife Denise have listed their longheld Vaucluse home.

They've lived at the Olola Avenue home in the park precinct for nearly two decades, having spent $1.65 million back in 1997.

The family home has been crafted to embrace the outdoors on its 845 sq m block.

An outdoor entertaining area spills onto the landscaped gardens that feature a swimming pool, cabana and self contained guest house.

The five bedroom, four bathroom main residence comes with interiors from renowned designer Cameron Kimber.

Max Spartanis at Raine & Horne Double Bay has the listing with a $7.5 million to $8.25 million price guide.

Olola Avenue's most recent sale was when $5.2 million was paid through Ray White agent Warren Ginsberg for a home that had been bought by a Chinese buyer for $4.8 million some 18 months ago.

The hotel group's holdings include the Macquarie Hotel in Sydney's outer west last year which was bought for $25 million and a recent $6.25 million purchase in Newcastle.

The group had previously owned Kings Cross nightclub Soho before its closure due to lack of patrons after the lock out laws.

It also owns the Eastern Hotel in Bondi Junction
