Across Greater Brisbane, the proportion of loss-making resales has increased over the past quarter, according to the latest CoreLogic Pain and Gain report.

The report found that 5.5% of houses and 17.3% of units sold for a loss over the June quarter, up from 5.3% and 14.5% respectively in the previous quarter.

The CoreLogic report compares the most recent sale price to the previous sale price in order to determine whether the property sold at a gross profit or gross loss.
