South Australian police have arrested two men and a woman following an in-depth investigation into a property scheme.

It allegedly defrauded a Chinese national from Shanghai out of $2 million.

Eastern Adelaide Criminal Investigation Branch officers oversaw the investigation.

A 59-year-old man and 52-year-old woman from Eden Hills were charged with 11 counts of deception and three counts of dishonestly dealing with documents.

They were both granted police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in November.

A 24-year-old Eden Hills man was arrested on Monday and charged with 25 counts of deception, dishonestly exploiting a position to advantage and dishonestly dealing with documents.
