Residential real estate wealth worth $6.6 trillion

The value of residential real estate in Australia is worth a total of $6.6 billion according to CoreLogic's Housing Market and Economic Update for August 2016.
Australians have an outstanding mortgage debt of $1.6 trillion, with the gross value of sales per annum at $281.1 billion.
