Hedley, the four-bedroom Italianate style Paddington terrace, sold at mid-week auction.
Hedley at 172 Jersey Road fetched $2.928 million.
Its reserve price was $2.5 million after the price guidance was lifted during the campaign from $2.35 million $2.4 million.
There was interest from 14 registered bidders for the unrenovated property, marketed by LJ Levi's Tim Stern and Elise Horscroft.
The median price for a home in Paddington is $1,820,000 according to CoreLogic.
