Regional Victorian vacancy rate goes higher than for metro Melbourne residential landlords: REIV

The amount of vacant properties in Metropolitan Melbourne fell over June to 2.7 per cent, while in regional Victoria the vacancy rate rose to 2.9 per cent over the month.

The weekly median rent for houses in metropolitan Melbourne remained at $401 a week, while in regional Victoria, the weekly median rent for houses increased to $295 a week.
