The Brambletye homestead has been listed for sale in Tasmania.

Built in 1830, with 1900 makeover, the eight-bedroom, two-bathroom Brambletye homestead is privately located on the property and overlooks the South Esk River and farmlands.

The homestead’s billiard room comes with a full sized antique billiard table.

Brambletye Homestead is currently operating as luxury accommodation for trout anglers who pay $180-250 per night.

The 4150 hectare property at 1014 Glen Esk Road, Conara and adjoining Glen Esk and Avon Park have been listed by Roberts Rural Real Estate agent Martin O'Byrne.

The property features mixed farming operations including sheep, cattle, dryland and irrigated cropping.

There are three farm cottages, a four stand shearing shed (capacity: 1,000 wool sheep), shearers quarters and machinery sheds.

"The sale of adjoining Glen Esk and Avon Park presents a rare and blue-chip opportunity to secure almost 15,000 acres and a combined South Esk River frontage of approximately 11km, along with huge flexibility for transfer of water between properties and the convenience of a location easily commuted to Launceston," Martin O'Byrne said.
