Bellbird Park has weekend's cheapest auction sale

Bellbird Park outside of Brisbane had the nation's cheapest sale of the election weekend auctions.

It was $224,000 for a three bedroom freestanding villa at 25/22 Buttler Street which had last sold at $155,000 in 2004 in the Ipswich district.

It was a 1980s villa with 80 sqm internal space on 400 sqm in the Ashwin Gardens estate that had been listed by private treaty late last year without success with $210,000 hopes.
