Construction work has begun on Dahua Group Australia’s $1 billion New Breeze project in Sydney’s suburb of Edmondson Park in the south west growth corridor.

New Breeze in Bardia, spans across 89 hectares and will comprise 1280 new homes with a range of housing types to suit all lifestyles and budgets. The development includes parks and playgrounds, a sports oval, bike and cycle paths and 40 hectares of open spaces for recreational activities.

Dahua purchased the land parcel from UrbanGrowth NSW late last year.

Civil contractor TRN Group was awarded a contract for civil infrastructure and subdivision works for the first 360 lots.

Eric Li, General Manager for Dahua Group Australia said this is a major milestone for the business and is our first masterplanned project in Sydney.

"We are committed to developing a project that the community will be proud to call home," he said.

"Partnerships have been formed with recognised experts in the local market to deliver our vision to create a thriving liveable community."

A variety of lot sizes from 250 sq m to over 647.7 sq m are for sale with prices starting from $330,000 to $670,000.

House and land packages are priced from $637,000.
