Sidelined NRL star Kieran Foran lists Belrose home

The sidelined NRL star Kieran Foran is slowly getting things right again.

His latest decision has been to list his Belrose home for June auction, having spent $2.51 million on a stressful Freshwater upgrade earlier this year.

The Parramatta Eels captain bought the now redundant five bedroom Belrose home four years ago when he was playing for the Manly Sea Eagles.

Marketed this week as a contemporary family home with rear heated swimming pool, the home in the Sea Eagles heartland had cost him $1.06 million.

The property has been scheduled for June 25 auction through Ray White Freshwater agents Graham Bennett and Bernard Hachenberg without any price guidance.

They were the agents that helped him find his new home in Freshwater.

A sale between $1.5 million and $1.75 million seems on the cards.

It was in April when the Parramatta Eels captain was given leave of absence to focus on his off-field woes.

He's been back on the paddock only to damage his shoulder in the thrilling win against Newcastle on Monday night.

It has likely ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

In April Foran reportedly checked into a rehab clinic in Brisbane following a breakdown in his relationship with his long-term girlfriend Rebecca Pope and the stress of his eight-week old son being hospitalised with a bronchial infection.

There was the added pressure of buying and then renovating the Freshwater home.

Just before his comeback game he was again on the front pages, when the half-back was linked to a TAB account which saw $75,000 lost in a matter of hours. 

The New Zealand star joined Parramatta from the Manly Sea Eagles at the start of the season on a two year deal, with an option for a further two season worth $4.8 million.
