Creative designer Annie Bloom has sold her 1920's Rose Bay home for $2.9 million.

It had been listed with $2.6 million plus hopes before it was passed in at recent auction.

It was then listed for $2.925 million through McGrath Coogee agent Chris Volpatti in conjunction with Raine & Horne's Barry Goldman.

Bloom, who is the director of creative designer company Visual Empire, paid $2.05 million for the family home in 2007.

The freestanding double brick Blake Street home on 594 sqm has four bedrooms, an alfresco dining terrace and a large back garden. With its elevated setting on the edge of Rose Bay village, the current house has views of the city skyline and Harbour Bridge.

It comes with approved plans for a brand new two storey residence.

Established 17 years ago, Visual Empire does set design, interior design and visual merchandising.
