A trophy home in Malvern, modelled on Melbourne's iconic Chanel Building is set for weekend auction with $3 million plus hopes.

The elegant four-bedroom home is a venture between Don Ravida, founder of construction company Ravida Homes and the company's business development manager David Scott.

They bought the property for $1.35 million in 2014.

The façade has been paint-matched to the exact colour of the Chanel building on Flinders Lane.

With custom designed with interiors from Samantha Eades of Eades & Bergman, the luxury aspects include double Herringbone oak floors and solid marble bench tops.

Set on 502 sqm, the home office overlooks the landscaped gardens, a built in barbecue bench and a swimming pool.

The property on the quiet tree-lined street at 3 Plant Street goes to auction June 4 through Jellis Craig agents Iain Carmichael.
