Simona founder Inge Fonagy has listed at Whale Beach.

She will be hoping for more luck this time round for her long-held Whale Beach home.

The home has been in the hands of the designer since 1964 when Inge and her late husband George, who had founded the fashion empire a year before, paid £9500.

The property was originally listed by LJ Hooker Palm Beach with a $3.9 million plus hopes in February last year. 

It has hopes of $3.25 million plus for its June 16 auction.

The Japanese-inspired timber property on 949 sqm has two levels, with three bedrooms.

Its floor to ceilings windows which open to a wide full length terrace.

Surrounded by landscaped subtropical grounds, the estate also has a pool overlooking Dolphin Bay and Whale Beach.

The style king Tyler Brule, founder of the interiors bible Wallpaper magazine, holidayed their in the late 1990s with his artist mother Virge.
